Peaking Hill Ski Resort
Built in a single session — a complete brand identity and mobile onboarding experience for a fictional ski resort, designed from scratch.
THE PROMPT.
Using a UI design sprint generator, I gave myself a single constraint: complete the prompt in one sitting. The brief called for designing an onboarding experience for a ski resort. Rather than recreate an existing brand, I decided to build one from scratch — naming the resort, designing the visual identity, and creating the onboarding flow as a unified creative exercise.
What came out of that session was Peaking Hill.
THE BRAND.
Peaking Hill needed to feel like a real resort — aspirational, clean, and distinctly alpine without leaning on tired ski resort clichés. I designed the logo, chose the color palette, and established the typographic system in the same session as the UI work, treating the brand and the product as inseparable rather than sequential.
THE ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE.
The onboarding flow introduces new users to Peaking Hill — covering account creation, preference selection, and the path to the main app experience. Every screen was designed to feel consistent with the brand identity established in the same session, creating a cohesive first impression from splash screen through home.
CONTEXT.
Personal design sprint completed in 2022. Solo project — brand identity and UI design handled in a single session using a design sprint prompt generator.
